Diana went to Nawandyo B, to introduce poultry lessons. Diana reached the community as usual found the chairman Kiige with some members eagerly waiting for Diana. He started thanking Diana for coming, and told her that he knew Diana was about to reach them and that there was no way he would stop her, he apologized saying his brother’s wife had just passed on. No wander Diana got the community members when there were rushing somewhere, so now it makes meaning why they were running up and down.
Diana told him, it is apity, no one can tell the time when someone is going to die. It is unfortunate that such things are happening.
Diana told him that since people are not gathering, she will now go home to home, as they go for the funeral. Diana wished them well and she started her home to home visits, as she moved, she met Nangobi Sarah, who was giving counseling lessons to some of the children in the community. Nangobi told Diana that the teens had become a problem in the community and that their parents had given up on them.
For Diana, this was an opportunity for her to talk to these children. Diana told the teens, that it is wrong to disobey their parents. Even the Bible says that, children obey your parents so that your years will be added. Isabirye asked Diana “what if your parents don’t stay at home and they keep drinking all the time, do you really respect them? Diana responded to him, Yes you have to respect them, because a parent is never chosen by any child, it is God who chooses them. God gave a parent the authority to bless their children, and if parent is unhappy that means the children also will be unhappy. Diana encouraged them to love their parents, help them with chores and responsibilities and be there for them. Diana continued with her counseling, and thanked Nangobi for always spending time counseling and helping these children be respectful and loving children in the community.
