Notes
Jeska and Tape were in Mpumiro village to continue teaching participants how to build stoves. They also targeted women also to participate in shaping and molding the stove. The community was divided into groups whereby Jeska joined one group and Tape joined the other. Each group successfully stamped , the dirt but one group that Jeska had struggled in stove building because most of them were the women who always ended on stamping the dirt and never participated in molding the stove. She guided them and a stove was built. Tape’s group group had some three men who were strong hardworking and have always participated in stove building did it perfectly and so fast. Kibo staff used these two different groups to challenge one another, they challenged the women always to be at the far front when it comes to stove building because this program directly benefits them. They also encouraged those who has so far learnt to continue working with other members until they also learn because the programs target is to ensure that they learn stove building in order to sustain it. Kibo staff also encouraged the community members that who ever has got a stove to continue smearing it as well as construct a strong firewood storage stand, stock it with firewood that can be used during scarcity. The community promised to keep on participating . There was also a challenge that most women who participated were old women and weak to through the dirt. Kibo staff encouraged the group to continue support these old women as a sign of showing love for one another, they also challenged the community to let the youth also participate because they are young stronger and easy to learn .
