Abraham met Kazimbakujira community leaders at the LC 1 defense and they told him that they made a decision not to give out trees because when they were in the community meeting many members showed interest in trees even those who planted them at first. The leaders decided that they are going to use a vote process to get members who will receive the trees. This is because trees are few as you compare with the new members. They decided that trees to be kept at Defence’s home so that they can prepare how they are going to give out. They thought that when they take straight to the meeting members may fight for them and it will be hard for them to give them out. Abraham agreed with the leaders and he gave them forty six Musizi seedings, ( 46 ) forty six Mvule seedlings ( 46 ) and forty six grafted Mangoes ( 46 ). The seedlings were kept at the LC1 defense Mr Ebera. The chairman LC1 Mr Papa Alfred was so happy to receive the trees but he said it is good not to take them just now to the meeting because some members will feel bad if they have not received. Abraham encouraged them to check the new members and see those who have worked on hygiene and sanitation. They can give trees to those who hove worked them as a motivation and encouraged the others also to work hard. The leaders agreed to use it and by Wednesday they will be planting them. They discussed about the community economic project and the vice chairperson LC 1 Mr John told the members that he is thinking about the community starting a piggery because he has a neighbor who has got money from piggery. Abraham told them to do a research so that by the time they will bring it in the meeting they will have much idea about the project.

2022-03-30 - Purpose: To continue with discussion on community economic activities and follow up on how the community planted trees.
