Notes
Alex B taught the community the benefits of trees in our lives. He told them that a lot is expected from a tree and some of them are ; firewood for cooking, furniture, building houses, provide shade where people can seat under and discuss issues that can help them to make development in their homes and community, also fruits and food like mangoes and oranges, food that is the leaves which animals like goats and cows can feed on. Alex B told them that trees are wealth and can be sold.He talked about mvule trees how expensive it is and durable for furniture and construction. He asked the members to embrace the culture of planting trees since most trees are being cut down and there is no replacement. He urged them to learn that it is better for them to bear in mind that trees should be planted in their community and on their piece of land.He told them that the more trees they plant, the more investment for themselves and their families. Trees are long term investments and also act as wind breakers in the community. The Lc1 Mr.Wakudumira.Sulaimani urged the people to embrace the mvule program and thanked kibo group for the programs in his village like CLTS and then mvule program. He promised to give in his total support to see that the community benefit out of the program.
