Notes
Martin went to Namulu, his intention was to follow up on the sanitation and hygiene improvement, checking on the sanitation facility construction and standards and to encourage the residents on standards and better methods. Even if it’s a rain season, the residents in that village are willing to work on their home facilities and others to maintain, the old ones they had before kibo like latrines, dish racks, kitchens, rubbish pits and shower facilities. For example Ogema Moses, he is digging a new pit latrine, it’s now 8ft deep, Richard Sajabi, he is a new comer in that village but he worked so hard on the latrine, dish rack, rubbish pit, kitchen, shower area and the tip tap, Namudumba Jenepher’s new kitchen was completed and the new dish rack, Ali Musoke, he worked on the new dish rack. And the group was just encouraging the community members about the standards and better methods about their home facilities.
