Notes
Martin went to Namulu, his intention was to follow up on the sanitation and hygiene improvement. And to check and encourage the community members on facility construction methods and standards. He met the local leaders at the ground, he walked around the village with them, to see how they are working on their new home facilities, in that village. Good enough, even if it’s a rain season, they are busy working in their gardens but they are willing to work on their new home facilities like kitchens, the new pit latrines, dish racks, rubbish pits, shower areas and others are having the tip taps, for washing their hands. For example Kenneth Odongo, a young boy, he dug a new rubbish pit for her mother, Asuman Isola’s new kitchen it’s under construction, Emanuel Mumali’s new shower area, it’s under construction and the group was so much encouraged to see a boda boda man Richard Sajja and he is a young man but he is the one, having a best home in that village. Because he worked for all the facilities the latrine, dish rack, rubbish pit, kitchen, shower area and the tip taps behind near the latrine and another one for the visitors, when they are entering the home.
