Allow Ownership
Working together as a community has helped them build more stoves on their own for those who didn't get, but they charge some small money which every member is proud of. When they get the money half of it is put on the well account.
Village Notes
The woman who was taken to the hospital by Harriet, thanked Kibo for the great help and sacrifice of taking her to hospital that later saved her life. Harriet didn't build stoves that day but took the dying woman to the hospital.

Meeting the community
Notes
Kibo staff and the visitors from the USA arrived in this village amidst ululations, dancing as the members were excited upon seeing the new visitors in their village. They went to the meeting place under a tree which this time was not a meeting place but was turned into a dancing area with a music system. After about 20 minutes of dancing and singing, the group was led by the stove members to the home where the stoves was to be built. They found when the materials were already in place and Kibo staff, Harriet, Jeska, Tape, Ida along with Kevin Norman, Kay Norman, Tina joined the members in stumping the dirt, which made the community very happy and surprised. In the middle of the process, they realised that the dirt was little and they sent the children for more. While there were women building the stoves, others were busy outside preparing a meal for Kibo staff and the visitors. One stove was built and the community was very happy for the finished stove. After the building process Kibo staff and the visitors were invited in the home of the lady who was being built for a stove. She started by thanking Kibo for saving her life and was alsp very excited to host the group in her house. After the meal the group headed back to Jinja
