- Keneth visited kigalama village to make a follow up visit checking on hand washing stands construction, guiding , encouraging residents on general sanitation improvement and standards. On arrival, he met the chairman sanitation committee who led him to the chairman water user committee and had a meeting with them together with the chairman of the village and some members and VHTs . Keneth was emphasizing leaders to be exemplary as they are the first people to lead and followed by the community members so it may be hard for them to demand these facilities from residents when they actually don’t have them in their respective homes. So keneth made walks with them to a few homes checking on other ideal facilities like latrines, bath areas, dish racks , rubbish pits,and many more helping residents improve their sanitation status and knowing the importance of these facilities as well as echoing on hand washing stand construction as a priority and together with the community members asked for a pardon till next week to have started on these stands since the little they had was helping them plant some seeds and they promised by next week to be done by most of the garden work and will be fully engaged in these stands construction.
