Notes
While in this community first briefed the community about the objectives of home to home tree inspection, this came after one of the community members , Mr Lookman asked why Chris has to move to every home instead of just teaching through a community meeting. Chris outlined the objectives to the community members, he said apart from just planting and taking care of trees, Kibo group would also like to build a long term relationship with the communities and see how everyone takes care of their families as well and this objective can only be achieved when Kibo staff visits members in their homes, Mr Lookman and the rest of the community members welcomed the idea and pledged to mobilize the rest of the community to prepare to receive the Kibo staff their homes. Chris then visited 6 homes which included Mr kawanguzi, Mrs Zakia, Mr Isiko Patrick, Mrs Faridah, Mr Lookman and Mr Mukunya’s , all these homes were taking care of the trees very well , Mrs Joweria who is the chairperson of the community program said the community members are very excited and happy that Kibo is able to visit their homes and consequently they will never miss any lessons, chris will continue with home to home tree inspection next week.
