Notes
Suzan and Tape went to the village to continue teaching the community how to build the fuel efficient stoves. This time the members were going to participate in the stove building lessons while Kibo staff guides them. When they reached, they found when the participants had already gathered all the materials going to be used for building the fuel efficient stoves and the group chairperson informed Kibo staff how they had already agreed to build for two members that day. Being a big number of participants, two groups were formed and led by Kibo staff. They went to separate kitchens and began building the stove step by step as Kibo staff guided them through out. The participants were also encouraged to ask questions where they didn’t understand so as to learn easily. Each group had two active men who mostly participated in the stove building under the guidance of Kibo staff. The members were able to construct two fuel efficient stoves that day which left them happy because they were improving on the skills slowly by slowly. Kibo staff thanked all the members for turning up and participating in the lessons that day and also encouraged them to continue improving on all their home facilities. The community thanked Kibo for the lessons conducted and the meeting came to an end.
