- Notes
- Harriet found a few members at the meeting place. As soon as she reached other members also gathered at the home where they were going to remove banana stems. They practically removed banana stems from the stove as Harriet guided them and
Corrected them where they made a mistake. They successfully removed four banana stems and forgot one stem in the vent. Harriet took an initiative to remind them and removed the banana stem. During the process one member complained that her stove contains a lot of smoke in the kitchen when she is cooking. Harriet walked with the group to her home and found when the vent was blocked because they never took out the banana stems that dried in and blocked it. Harriet explained to the group the cause of smoke , she also encouraged them always to look at the complete stove when they are taking out banana stems from the new stoves to avoid mistakes. The participants thanked Harriet on behalf ofKibo for being patient with them despite the many mistakes they have so far made.
