Notes
Abraham met Kitukiro community members to discuss how much they will bring back in form of offsprings about the goats. Last time the discussion ended with two options, to bring ten thousand shillings ( 10000 ) in form of a real offsprings and twenty thousand shillings ( 20000 ). They came up with these amount of money to bring back in form of offsprings after a discussion whereby they found out that bringing the real goat may be difficult. They all agreed to bring twenty thousand shillings to the general as an offsprings and they said that they are going to start bringing the money after the harvest. They are hoping to get one million five hundred and twenty thousand shillings ( 1520000=) but some of this money they will buy a goat to one of the community member called Achenge Joy who lost her goat. Abraham went with the vet.doctor to continue teaching the community how to treat goats. The vet.Mr Idaama Johnson told the community that most sickness in goats and other animals comes from ticks, he said that 89% sickness in goats is brought by ticks so that have to control them by spray with insecticide which kills them every month. He also advised them to deworm them because sometimes they remove them late from the bush where they take them to graze and they each some pests which causes them to diarrhea. Kisakye Monica told the doctor that her goats the left eye is red and the doctor told her to bring it and he treated. He said that such sickness comes when goats stay in a wet place and when goats urine mixes with its droppings. The doctor told them to work together in treating the goats because they can contribute one thousand each and it can take for them four month deworming their goats but if they do it individually it is more costly. The doctor treated four goats for members who were nearby. They are going to get a day when they will bring their goats at the meeting place so that they will spray them and deworm them.
