Ida went to Naisamula to continue teaching about harmony and unity in marriage ( communication). By the end of this lesson, the community members will be able to define communication, list types of communication.
She found twenty- five members waiting for her ready for the lesson. She thanked members for keeping time because when lessons begin early this better. Ida asked about the homework question which was “What is Communication ?“
Muhammad said that it’s the conversation between parents and children.
Sofia said that communication is the command from husbands because women are not supposed to talk.
Ida then Defined communication as a two way process of conveying information through speaking or sign language.
Ida and the community members discussed about types of communication which are “ Verbal, non verbal, written, visual and listening. She also gave some Bible references, James 3:2-11, James 1:19 and Ephesians 4:29.
Ida asked the community members to share some of the good communication skills they know.
Mugala Fred said “ Telling the Truth “.
Simon said that “ Respecting each other and thinking before speaking “.
The chairperson thanked everyone for participating and also thanked Kibo for the lesson on communication because they can define what it is and know the types.
