The preparations to give this community 96 goats are in high gear , chris and Abraham visited to follow up requirements to receive goats ( Mvule lesson plan), they were joined by the community leaders and visited 20 homes who included kiisa, Loy, Tereza, Beth, Isiko, Taita, Jafari, Nabwire, Milly, Rukeyser, Namuyodi Amina, Hadija, Sylivia Naigaga, Zauma, Sinai, Kalembe hellen, talyaka, Safina, Kefa, and ephraim. All this homes had all the requirements like trees planted and being taken care of, goats shelter, grass for the goats, hand washing station, dish rack, latrine, bathroom, member active in the community project (onion garden) rubbish pit and a tidy compound, chris and Abraham were very impressed to find hand washing facility almost in every home they visited which indicated how the community is getting ready to receive the goats from Kibo. Chris and Abraham encouraged the leaders to follow up the rest of the community where Kibo has not reached to make sure the whole community is on the same page. Abraham and Chris observed that the community is 70 percent ready as they continue with home to home visitation to follow up on requirements to receive goats, he is will go back next week to continue with following up on requirements to receive goats in the upper section of the community.

As the community prepares to receive goats, chris observed that the sanitation and latrine coverage has gradually increased, this is attributed to Kibo’s decision to consider sanitation in homes as one of the requirements to receive goats.
28728 Buyange village, Mr Kabweru Robert and Chris pose for a photo at a newly constructed goats’ shelter. Before a homes receives a goat from Kibo , there has to a proof of presence of where the goats shall sleep and it has to be a very clean and safe place.
28731 Buyange village, Mr Kabweru Robert also planted the grass which his goats will be feeding on. To ensure the goats stay healthy and productive, Kibo has encouraged the community to plant more grass for the goats .
