Alex B met members the community to discuss about economic projects or projects . When he arrived,he was received by the chairperson of the community known as Zaina.They were after joined by the secretary of the community Fred. Some people started coming in for the meeting. Alex B asked the community about their saving and loan scheme.He was told that so far the community members have saved 1200000 Uganda shillings. He asked them to begin thinking of community economic projects since money is for individual saving. One of the community members called Aggrey said that already they have a garden of ground nuts.It was a surprise to him since he was not told before about it .The chairperson said that the community wanted to surprise AlexB .This was after having some discussions with the community about economic projects. The community led Alex B to the garden.It is a walkable distance and managed to reach their after some time.The garden is of one acre .The land was hired for one year and one year is of two seasons of planting if it is ground nuts. He thanked the community for the decision that was taken to come up with such a project .He added that more still need to be done that will make everyone to benefit of projects done in the community.They discussed how they raise money for that garden of ground nuts. They after went back to the meeting place though it was already past 3 o’clock. He thanked all for the project and asked them to continue working together.He also asked to think of other projects that can be done and good for economic development in the community.
