Martin went to Bukooma, to continue checking on the facility standards and guiding the community members on specifications. The day was good, because he walked around the village with the local leaders and sanitation committee members, their emphasis was to check and guiding the residents about hand washing standards and other sanitation facilities like latrines,dish racks, rubbish pits, shower areas and kitchens.
Generally, according to what was on the ground on that day, the big number of homes, have worked on their new facilities and others are still working on them especially the new latrines and hand washing stands. And for those who have worked on their new hand washing stands, they told Martin, to continue encouraging other families also to construct them. Because they told him that, according to what they had on the triggering day, and they have experienced to wash their hands after visiting their latrines. They have seen that, much diseases comes from visiting their. The group walked around the village in 23homes, checking and guiding the residents to work on their new home facilities.
