- Tape was in Mpumiro village to continue guiding participants as they build stoves on their own.This time she tasked the participants especially the women to mix the dirt at a ratio of 2:2 to see whether they learnt that process because last time they could not do it well. The dirt was stamped and Kibo staff guided them how to build stoves and asked the women who always sat back and watched to participate because she wanted them to participate. zaina, Sofia and Amina took the lead but they failed/ forgot to put the banana stems for the vent and this would keep smoke in the kitchen thus affecting the effectiveness of the stove. She encouraged them to always be active during the stove building lessons so that they will be able to learn. The participants appreciated Tapes guidance and corrections and promised to try to build a stove that she will look at during her visit in the following week.
