- Notes
- Abraham met thirty five Bukoma community members and the chairman told the members that Kibo is having a program of planting trees which are mostly Mvule and that is why he is in their village to meet them. Some members asked whether Kibo will come back and claim the trees. Abraham told them that those trees will be theirs and they are the ones to benefit from those trees but what Kibo wants is for them to take care of the trees for a year. He quoted the chairman's speech last week about people growing sugar cane and cutting all trees, he asked them how they feel about looking for fire wood. They said fire wood used not to be a problem but now as people started growing sugar cane they just buy from other people who have trees. The chairman asked Kibo to work in the whole of Bukoma because planting trees needs many people to be involved. They are going to mobilize for more members for the next meeting.
