Abraham, Alex W and Alex B met community leaders to continue a discussion about community economic activities. They had hoped earlier to meet all community members but they thought it is good to meet the leaders first before meeting all community members. The community leaders took them around to see what they have achieved so far and also shared the challenges. They went to one of the community member called Vicent who is already having piggery project because as a community this is also their dream to engage in an activity which will benefit all community members. The leaders said that this is why they picked the suggestion to do piggery as a community economic project. This community is now having two hundred and sixty households and to think of a community activity which will benefit all, it must be something which multiply so quickly. They have a suggestion that even if they will do an economic project as a community but their goal is to see that each member will also be doing something in their homes. They have bought a tent of one hundred seats which they hope it will help them in difficult times like death and also other villages will be renting whereby that money will come to the community pool. They are now having two things which they are thinking will work for them. Piggery and poultry they think that one will work for them. Alex W encouraged the leaders for the good work done so far and he advised them to sit as leaders and come up with one thing which they think will work for them and then take it to general meeting. Abraham added after their general meeting, they will have a meeting with Kibo staff and come up with one thing they think will work for them because Kibo wants to pattern with them not to tell them what to do. Alex B said that since the number is big they can divide themselves in groups so if it will be piggery then they will discuss how many pigs to give each group to take care of. He added that doing it in one place with all the members may be difficult. The leaders supported Alex B idea and said they are going to do it. Together they agreed to have a general community meeting on 25/52022.

2022-05-25 - Purpose: To continue with the lesson of community economic project with the all community members to come up with the community economic activity they will do together.
