- Steven and Jake, went to Butamoga village, meet with the sanitation and hygiene committee and village leaders and encourage them on maintenance and scaling out of hand washing standards. And to encourage the sanitation committee to continue encouraging the residents and find solutions to replace and repair stands that break or get old. And he will be focusing on making sure that the village committee are in position to maintain and sustain hand washing hand washing improvements in the village. Steven, Jake, moved and local leaders, moved around the village to check on the improvements of sanitation facilities. But the residents have worked so hard on their new home facilities like latrines, dish racks, rubbish pits, hand washing stands, kitchens and shower areas. And Steven was just encouraging the residents about maintenance.
