Notes
Chris and Abraham had very great discussions about caring for goats with the community members, in attendance were the parish councilor, both the chairman LC1 and LC2 and other community leaders, the Biggest issue on the agenda was the security for the goats and other livestock in the community, both the chairperson Mrs Norah Kasoga and the chairman LC2 Mr Kawanguzi complained to the parish councilor about the rampant theft of goats and cows in the community, the parish councilor who sits on the security committee at the sub county was their to encourage and assure the community that their goats shall be secure. The parish chief however cautioned the community members to be vigilant and be each other’s security before the government can come in. Abraham and Chris encouraged the community to plant more grass for their goats to feed on in order to control the goats from eating their neighbors’ whisk her in most times causes conflicts in the community . During the next visit chris and Abraham shall lead the community members into discussions to find out what the community has to do to benefit from the goats, we shall hear from the most experienced people who rear goats in the community and the community members shall give in their suggestions too.
