- Alex w,Alex B and Tori from USA went to Kalitumba to discuss with them about community economic projects and also check on trees that were given to them by Kibo group.They had an opportunity to check on the ground nuts project the community is engaging in. Together with the community leaders, they checked on some of the trees that were planted by the community members and continued to advise people to take more care. The trees all look very healthy and their garden too is doing very well. They hope to harvest their ground nuts in about two weeks. While in the meeting the community was guided to select economic activities that will involve all people and benefit equally. The community members decided to engage in farming projects and rearing of goats. They were left with an assignment to discuss how these two projects will be conducted. Kibo staff will continue to discuss and guide the community members on how these activities will be conducted and how kibo group will be able to partner with them. Tori a visitor from US encouraged the community to work together and loved so much what he saw in their village.
