Notes
First they moved around the village visiting some people who planted trees in their homes and continued to give advise how to take care of the young trees. Yahaya one of the community member was advised to put back the cages around his young trees in order to prevent them from being eaten by the animals. Many of the people have done a good job putting back the cages on their young trees and all the homes have been visited during the past four visits to Buluvu. While in the meeting Alex W and Alex B introduced a new lesson about constitution writing and all that is involved in a given. It’s an idea that was bought by the people that turned up and were left with an assignment to meet as a community and brain storm about what they need to come up with in their constitution before our next meeting. There were few people that turned up to the meeting because of a busy season of harvesting the ground nuts from the gardens. This is a very crucial time and small window to get out the ground nuts before they re-germinate since it’s raining almost every day in Buluvu village. The Mvule staff members will go back to continue a discussion and guide the community to come up with a constitution and what’s embedded in the constitution. Kyle a kibo visitor admired how hardworking the community people are and was even asked to plant a fruit tree at Jowelia’s house. He encourage them to continue with the spirit of working together in all their endeavors and appreciated them for warmly welcoming him to their beautiful village.
