Notes
Tom made a,visit to Kagulu village to check on hand washing improvements through the construction f hand washing stands. Tom was also to check on the maintenance of other facilities. When he arrived, he was joined with Mr Kaidha who is one of the sanitation committee members. He also went and mobilized the treasurer who joined them. They moved from the lower section towards the upper section checking on stands and other facilities. Even though the construction of then stands has been slow, Mr Sanyu from kishaike has helped them construct standard stands. Tom encouraged the residents to always put jericans on the stands and always wash their hands every after using a latrine. One resident said ever since he got the stand on his home, he realized the value and also went t his second home in another village and constructed a stand there as well.
