Martin went to Bukooma A, to check on the hand washing stands improvement, maintenance for other facilities and to prepare the village for hand washing evaluation.
Good enough, the day was good, because he walked around the village with the local leaders. And the community members in that village have worked on their new hand washing facilities and they have started using them, to wash their hands after visiting their latrines. And others are still working on them, due to bing busy in their gardens. because it’s a rain season.
And other facilities like kitchens, rubbish pits, shower areas, dish racks, the residents have worked on them and smearing their kitchens, main houses and their latrines. So the group was encouraging the residents about the standards and to continue maintaining their home facilities, so that they can help them for a long time.
And according to what is going on in that village, the village is willing to work on the general sanitation. And the local leaders are ready for the third evaluation.
