- Notes
- Abraham, Amelia and Anna visited Nawaibete community members and this was the first time Mvule program was meeting the members of this community. They went around checking the homes of the members and found them using saver stoves, the dish racks were in a good condition. They visited even the bore hole Kibo drilled for the community and it was working well, it was clean and the fence is still good.
Abraham then introduced the Mvule program to the meeting who were so excited and started dancing singing songs of praising God who took Kibo to their village, they said they are willing to comply with Kibo in planting trees because they have a problem of fire wood and women walk long distances. They said they know the benefits of the Mvule tree because even a man named Kakugulu did a great job planting the Mvule trees along side roads to Mbale town. They said they are going to mobilise for the next meeting so that many can be involved. The visitors also encouraged the community and thanked them for welcoming Kibo in their village.
