Notes
Tape and Jeska went to the village to continue guiding the members as they build the stove on their own because some new members had joined the group and had not learnt how to build the stoves very well. They found when the members were already at babirye’s home where the first stove was going to be constructed. The group chairperson informed Kibo staff how they had organized to build two stoves that day for two members. They both agreed and divided themselves into two groups and went to different homes. They began working together with Kibo staff by collecting dirt from the termite hill while taking it near the kitchens where the stoves were going to be constructed. The two groups stamped the dirt until it got ready, it was taken inside the kitchens and the participants started building the stoves step by step as Kibo staff guided them throughout until they completed. Kibo staff reminded all the participants to improve on all their facilities and also to continue working together as team during any program activities. The community thanked Kibo for the lessons and the meeting came to an end.
