Stoves
Notes
Kibo staff together with Seven USA internee students found when the participants had already stamped the dirt for one of the two stoves that were to be built. The group joined the community to stamp the dirt.Kibo staff built two stoves as they explained the whole process. It was very interesting to see one man who was helping his wife to cook food for the family as his wife was participating in the stove program. This is because this man now appreciates how much work his wife does and therefore decided to help her with work when ever he sees that she is busy. One of the members who got a stove (Namaganda an Old woman) thanked Kibo for helping her to get a stove. She was very happy and danced showing how excited she was.
