- Bible Lesson 4: Loving others
- Notes
- Ida went to Sinde and taught about "Loving others ".She began with a short review on the previous lessons. Nafula took the community in the review and it was great seeing her teach. The group answered all the questions very well which impressed Ida.
Ida asked a question that what does loving others mean?
Barasa said that it's showing mercy to those whom you don't know,
Nasirumbi said that it's helping those in need.
Ida narrated the good Samaritans story but used people's names in Sinde as characters. This made them understand more.
Most of them said that they had never thought that way about the story. She asked the community to tell her what they had learned from the story. Gusino Alfred said that he can also be a Good Samaritan from Sinde by helping those in need such as children without school fees. Hamome said that he can be a Good Samaritan by helping his wife with most of the work after giving birth. Wabwire said that he can be a Good Samaritan by digging a pit latrine for a widow who has no one to help.
Ida added that we also see that God himself shared with us His only son. The son loved us to death!. Ida left them with John 3;16 as the memory verse.
