Notes
Tom took the students to kisiro village to show the kibo work in relation to sanitation and hygiene as well as carry out a second evaluation in the village to see progress made towards sanitation and hygiene improvements. They moved in 30 homes together with committee members checking and encouraging the community in sanitation and hygiene improvements. They were able to see new pits being dug. The committee members and Tom encouraged the residents to continue working and finish their facilities. Together with the committee members, they also encouraged the residents about facility standards. The visitors/students where very happy to see how kibo encourages the community in sanitation and hygiene. They also appreciated Kibo’s efforts towards community sensitisation.
