- Notes
- Harriet had planned for a surprise visit to Bukoma to assess whether participants were using their stoves on daily basis. Unfortunately she reached in the village when it was raining heavily. It rained non stop for over three hours and since the road was slippery, Harriet decided to come back to Jinja because she feared getting stuck on the way. The chairperson of the group(Mukose) told Harriet to wait for the rain to stop and they walk together to the homes of the participants to check on the stoves. Harriet decided to leave despite of the chairperson’s persuasive language. She however told him that she will plan and come back another day.
