Village Notes
Nawandyo B and Nawandyo A people worked together on the road to their village which was impassable due to the heavy rains and now one can easily access Nawandyo than before. They said that they won’t wait for the government time to act so they decided to help themselves quickly.

Notes
Alex together with the sanitation committee members visited Waiswa Paul’s home and found him when he had so far dug up a pit to 10ft and was still digging because he is required to dig at least 15ft before constructing on it. This man had disappeared from his home and only returned about three weeks ago. He has promised to complete working on his pit latrine in one week. They again visited Ibra’s home to look at what he had done in his home. This guy had been very stubborn to get him working in his home but he has now completed digging up a 15ft pit and by the time we were at his home, Ibra and his brother had gone to get the poles to be used for his latrine construction. Together in the meeting they selected 11 water user committee members to spear head the water program. Alex while in the meeting emphasised that it’s important for everyone in the community to remain together and let no one start to scramble for where the borehole is to be put. He continued to remind the committee of their roles and responsibilities and to do things together as a committee with the whole community members. Alex will go back and continue to prepare the community through their roles and responsibilities and to talk about the community borehole contributions and also follow up on Waiswa and Ibra.
