- Ws Notes
- David was in nawampiti to follow up on the sanitation facilities and their standards .when David reached the village ,he joined mr Jacob the v h t they moved together in the different homes which were affected by the heavy rains. They did so because previously they had set for the homes which were affected the rightful standards of their home hygiene facilities.Out of the 30 homes David and Jacob visited ,twenty two homes had worked and improved upon their latrines and shower areas up to the required standards. The eight were not meeting the required set standards .David and Jacob demonstrated to them the rightful standards and sizes of the different sanitation facilities These homes that were not meeting the required standards asked for a grace period of two weeks to improve on their sanitation facilities.
David and Jacob then went to mr kagwas home the treasurer of the borehole. They wanted to know what was the status of the borehole account. Mr kagawa told David that they had collected 180,000/- shillings and left with a balance of 20000 shillings. In general according to what David monitored and assessed was that the majority of the community members are working and improving. On addition to the above David left the village with an assignment for the committee members that they are to visit every home three times a week for more hygiene improvements and-sanitation encouragements .
