Notes
Abraham met thirty three Bukoma community members and he taught them how to plant Mvule trees, the holes have to be 2x2x2 ft and put the top soil on the side and the inner soil on the other side so that during time of planting, they fill back the top soil first and then put the inner soil on top. They do that to help the young tree to grow strong because the roots get into the soil with manure quickly. They were so excited to know that Mvule is being planted, they even said they have never seen seeds of Mvule. Some members asked if it is okay for them to go a head and dig holes. Abraham said it is okay to go a head and dig the holes but they have to get the list of those who are going to plant and they will divide up according to someone's capability. He advised them not to take many seedlings as one person but at least five and not more than that because the idea is for everyone to participate in the program. He also advised them to plant some trees at the public land like sub county land, schools, clinics , churches or Mosques. In conclusion, they said they are going to meet and have a list so that they will get the number of people who will be able to plant trees.
