Notes
Martin went to ltuba Namalowe to check on sanitation and hygiene improvement in the section of the village from the trading centre towards the lower section up to the Chairman LC1. He walked around this section with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee members. The community members have worked so hard on their sanitation facilities like latrine constructions, dish racks, kitchens and shower facilities. They were encouraging the community members about standardisation for those who are still working on their latrines and better construction methods as well as standards.
In this section Martin saw Nine families who had worked so hard on their sanitation facilities. Among them were Monic Kuguminkiliza’s latrine which was broken by the heavy rain, but they were so encouraged to see that she constructed it which is so good, Musubika Kyemba was appreciating kibo’s work because she told the group that she had spent three years with out a Kitchen and she was cooking outside. She is so happy now because of her husband built her a kitchen. Generally the community members had worked so hard on their sanitation facilities. They walked in 32homes.
In Addition to the above, the nearby village called Namuwondo is requesting kibo to help the community members on their sanitation facilities.
