Notes
Alex B and the members discussed the state of the project of the groundnuts they planted. The groundnuts have been harvested and they were drying them. They agreed on the day they collected them from the garden that, each be given some fresh groundnuts so that he or she can go and plant as part of self development. The remaining balance can make two hundred Kilograms when processed. They are going to hire 2 acres of land and half of it they are again going to plant as a group. They want the balance of the groundnuts to be sold and some of the money will be used to buy drugs for spraying and some will be part of their saving with the treasury. They said 1kg can be sold at sh.3500.All together the ground nuts are about 300 kgs which amounts to 300 x 3500 =sh.1050000.The money they used to buy the seeds was sh,240000. They said that the profit is more than sh.810000 . Their plan is to grow groundnuts on large scale and raise more money in the group to loan themselves and pay back with small interest since they want to develop themselves and the group. They want to catch up with the next season and plant their groundnuts in time and receive good yield. All members will be expected to participate from the time of preparing the garden, planting, spraying, weeding, harvesting and selling. Alex B reminded them to always embrace development and work as a group, attend meetings and discuss matters that help them as individuals and the group to do more projects.
