Notes
Harriet met members from Upper Maliga and Maliga central. She first asked them to think about the challenges they go through while cooking food. This helped them to understand how the stove would help them to overcome such challenges. They asked Harriet how they can also get stoves. This was an opportunity for Harriet to remind them that Kibo has already taught some people in their village how to build stoves so those ones who learnt should teach those who have not got stoves. Members in Upper Maliga asked each member to contribute Ugx 1000 so that they can also feel the pain of missing meetings because when Kibo was teaching them other members were busy in their rice fields. Members agreed because they have seen how those with stoves are cooking better and their lives have been improved.
