Introduction
Manuela and Lorna went to Kivule primary school, their aim was to review their previous lessons then introduce the new topic. Reviewing of the lessons helps life skills teachers to access if the pupils have understood the lesson taught.
Objective
By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to know the definition of communication style and the examples
Overview
When Manuela and Lorna reached the school, they found pupils in the meeting with their headmaster and they were discussing about how they should make good use of their library and read books. After that session, pupils went to Life Skills class, Manuela and Lorna entered the class, Manuela started by asking the pupils about the previous lessons that they learnt, Manuela was asking the pupils questions and they were answering which was good as it was pupils centred. After that, Manuela started reviewing lessons with the pupils, then Lorna also did the same but on another lesson which was Attacking behaviour and Avoiding behaviour as means of communication skills.
After teaching Manuela and Lorna went and met with the headmaster discussing about the exhibition day and program, during the conversation Manuela and Lorna informed the headmaster about the change in Life Skills program date that they will be teaching twice a week for two weeks since Life Skills is coming to an end. They also told the headmaster that they want this program to continue with the interest of next year there should be new enrolment for the pupils who were unable to attend Life Skills program this year, the headmaster said that, basing on the importance of this program, he will make sure that this program continues in this school.
