Notes
Abraham and Nate B met thirty eight Ikumbya community members and the chairperson Mrs Nabirye told the meeting that they elected the Local council one but the government decided that they need to repeat the exercise. They elected another chairperson of this village which made some not to be happy. Abraham and Nate Barton moved around checking the facilities like dish racks, latrines, kitchens, stoves and the bore hole, they met all facilities when they were so good and they are keeping them as if they made them Yesterday. At around 2:30pm more members joined the group and Abraham started teaching them using the story of a Good Samaritan and each member was given a a copy of someone helping his friend, they had to shade the pictures and then tell what he or she learnt from that exercise. It was a great exercise because many had not even got lunch but they were so happy shading the pictures of a Good Samaritan. They came when they were not happy because of the elections but when they started shading with their children who joined the group, they were very happy to share the lesson with their children and even their children were guiding them how to do it right. Abraham advised them to continue working together because that is what Kibo wants them to be like so that, they can move on as a village to help one another in problems not to hate each other. Many members thanked Kibo for working in the village because for this time the village has been divided concerning the elections but now as Kibo group they are going to teach even those who are not in the group and they are going to put the pictures of a Good Samaritan at their door frames so that they will be reminded every time they enter their houses. Nabirye said that she has forgiven those who did not vote for her and she wants all to come together and work together. Abraham and Nate left the village at 3:30pm when the members were still shading no body left the place. They need more prays because they said that politics has caused more divisions than before.
