Martin went to Kagulu village to check on sanitation and hygiene improvement ,from the trading center towards the upper section. He walked around that section with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee members. Especially they went to check on those latrines being constructed and those who have already. Generally the big number of people have worked on their sanitation facilities, even if others are still working on their sanitation facilities like latrine constructions, dish racks, kitchens, shower facilities etc. They’re encouraging them about better maintenance, construction methods and teaching them how to use ash to eliminate flies and smell in those latrine who have already constructed. They were so happy to see Magidu Mutebe constructing a kitchens with poles, because the big number of people are using bricks to construct their sanitation facilities like kitchens, latrines and shower facilities. They walked in 32homes, after that he had a shot meeting with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee, and discuss how they can do for those homes who are still bind. The Chairman LC1 suggested that if possible, they can have a general meeting with the all village members to discuss about the sanitation facilities in Kagulu village. The hall group agreed for that, so kibo works, Government officials and the Chairman LC1, they are going to select a day call the all village members for that meeting. Addiction to that politics is still taking place in Kagulu village.
