Notes
Abraham met thirty five Nawaibete community members and they moved around checking how they dug holes for Mvule seedlings most members did it right only few whereby they did not make the distance from a tree to another and they were advised to charge using their steps because it is believed that if you make a wide step it a meter so they were told to make thirty wide steps. They had not mixed the manure with the soil and Abraham advised them to mix the manure so that by the time of planting they will be ready. They promised to finish mixing the manure with soil in two days from now.
They had a meeting and the chairman Mr Kabaale said that they had a government local council one election and they failed to come up with who will be the chairman for two days, then the government decided that they have to elect heir chairman on 23 this month which is last Monday but on that day, the one who was been a chairman lost the post and the people selected Kabaale who is the chairman of Kibo program in Nawaibete. That made him so annoyed and the fight started between the two parties, the police was called for help and one police officer was hit by one of the former candidate and also one member who supported the former chairman threw a stone wanting to hut the new chairman Mr Kabaale but for instead he hit the one he was supporting. The police fined the former LC1 chairman three hounded thousand shillings for treating the police officer who was hut. They took the former LC1 chairman to the hospital in Iganga for treatment and Yesterday they brought him back home but he is still sick.
Abraham will have some meeting with all the parties to ensure that they can work together and let politics not divide the village because now the village is divided into two parts the upper and the low supporting the new chairman and the upper supporting the former chairman.
