- Notes
- Abraham met thirty one Bukoma A community members and they started making their by laws, they have been coming for meetings but there has not been by-laws to help them move smoothly for example they had said they will be coming for meeting at noon but some members have been coming at 2pm. That has been a problem to those who come early at noon, they have been complaining that they want to make every member serous about time because for them they leave everything they are doing and other come late which makes them to stay longer for the late comers.
The members decided that they are going to meet at 2pm exactly and that means they have to come to the meeting before that time because 2pm is when meeting start. They discussed that if a member will reach late he or she will pay one thousand shillings and that money will help to buy books and pens for the group to use.
Abraham advised them not to take long in the meetings because some women have responsibilities in their families so it will be good for them to take like one hour if they all arrive in time, they all supported the idea and they said by 3pm they will be finishing their meetings. Some have not yet finished mixing the soil with manure and Abraham encouraged them to finish mixing the manure with the soil because the season is soon coming so that they will be able to plant trees. They are thinking of starting making their construction so that they will have a certificate from the government as a group.
