Committee Challenges
Two of the committee members borrowed money from the treasurer and have failed to return it. This created weakness in the committee and the community members also vowing not to contribute again until those people pay back the money.r

Other Committee Notes
The committee got weak when the people on the committee failed to pay back the money they borrowed. This was the secretary and the adviser that borrowed 230000sh from the committee treasurer about a year ago. This created a very bad picture that if the leaders just eat that money, then there was no need keeping the money for the borehole future repairs of the borehole. This split up the committee and the community members also vowed not to pay any more money until their money was recovered. A lot of pressure was put on these people to pay back the money but this has not yielded anything yet. This left only 3 committee members active and the rest were inactive. It was only the chairman and two borehole caretakers. Alex then held a meeting with all the water users to bridge up this gap that was created. The people that borrowed the money were also present and this time round they asked for one more week to pay this back. They were also replaced by new people on the committee. The community members also were reminded that it was their duty to pay the monthly charges as agreed in the by-laws to have money on the borehole account all the time as the borehole can breakdown any time. The chairman of the committee mr. Kinabye Noah said he and the rest of the committee members were going to seriously demand for the money this month. Also it was agreed that no more loaning out borehole money to any body in the community but rather keep all the money with the treasurer until the borehole needs to be fixed. Alex was able to move in about 17 homes checking on the sanitation standards and realized that some people's facilities needed to be replaced as they were getting very old. Dish racks were the biggest challenge and he called on every body in the community to make sure that their homes look clean and at standard all times. They were told that any Kibo staff would come any time to their community to see if they were taking ownership of all the programs left behind and it would be a shame if they weren't. The community told Alex they had started talking about having a celebration in their community with Kibo celebrating the far Kibo has helped Butamoga.
Ws Notes
This water still works so perfectly and plenty of water flow. It was recently repaired by an HPM with new bearings and pump buckets. The fence is still very strong and the soak pit only needs to be emptied by removing the flooding water. It takes 60 seconds to fill a jerrycan.
