- Martin went to ltuba Namalowe to check on the sanitation and hygiene improvement, in the lower section from the Chairman LC1 up to the primary school. He walked around that village with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee members, to check on those homes who are still working on their sanitation facilities. They were so encouraged to see seven families busy working on their sanitation facilities like Sepiliano Mwamdha he is constructing a new kitchen with bricks, Filimoni Batale constructed a strong latrine with bricks and it’s smeared, Agenensi Nakasango Batuli, she is roofing her new latrine two rooms and shower area and other communities. For those who are still working on their sanitation facilities, they were encouraging them about the standards and maintenance. And for those who have worked on their sanitation facilities, they were encouraging them about smearing and using ash to eliminate flies and smell in their latrines. Martin and the group walked in 36homes. Addiction to that, the Chairman LC1, sanitation committee members and the residents of the village are requesting kibo not to give up, because they have seen the value of the sanitation facilities.
