- Notes
- Abraham met thirty two Bukoma C and they discussed about making their own temporary by-law which will guide them until they make their own constitution. There was a lot of suggestions that the members brought, they agreed that the meeting time will be 1pm to 2pm and it will be for one hour only that means that if any member comes after that he or she will not find anyone there and will pay a fine of five hundred shillings. They have been struggling to deal with members who dodges meetings and also those who come late to the meetings and they were very happy especially who comes in time.
Abraham encouraged them to continue discussing some ideas which will make their village better and also finish mixing manure with the soil so that they can be prepared for planting next month. They had some problem during LC1 election which brought a village to be divided in the government local council one, they struggled so much to elect the local council one chairman because there were three candidates and yet they were related to each other. Abraham told them to forget politics because it is time to see how they can make their village better than it is now not to waste time to things that divide them. This village many people grow sugar cane and they cut all trees whereby now they are struggling to get fire wood, so they are willing to plant more trees. The LC5 Luuka district comes from this village and Abraham will talk to him to meet with the village members with him so that he can also encourage them about Kibo programs.
