The meeting began with prayer and the Lc I gave welcome remarks to the community members. The chairperson of the group Mrs.M Segonga also gave her welcome remarks and reminded the members to keep time for the meetings. She then invited Alex to talk to the group. Alex B thanked those who turned up for the meeting and thanked those who are trying to draft the document which will be their constitution for their group. Abraham Mulongo told them the need of a group having a written constitution as something to guide their group. That their group will be recognized in their community,sub-county and on the district offices. And that their group will be secure as it will have a certificate for them to operate and also that they can benefit from government programs The chairperson of the group read what they had written down and some of them were that, a member should have enough food for their families, keep time for the meeting, attend all meetings ,each rare chickens in their homes, look after the tree that was given to them by kibo group. Also to be ready to learn from kibo group and also from the government officials. Also that they will open a bank account for their group to keep their money safe.
