- Notes
- Harriet found members from upper and central Maliga working together to chop grass with a plan of upper Maliga building a demonstration stove as it explains to members in Maliga central. Harriet joined them as they took grass to the home where a demonstration stove was to be built at Mr. Bwiso's House. As they were preparing them selves for the demonstration lesson , a representative from the sub county electoral commission asked all the women to chose representatives who will represent them at the local council one. He said he had been waiting for them at the sub county but no one showed up to pick the form yet every village is supposed to send at least five women representatives. The women were very bitter for the government interruption yet they were excited about the stove program. Harriet convicted them to go for the government meeting because it was also important for their village. The meeting was postponed to Friday 10/ October 2017. Harriet did not do much because those who were to represent fellow women had to campaign for them selves.r
