Learning Objectives
The pupils were carrying out a general exam and so the objective of the general test is to assess how well the pupils understood life skills lessons/ topics as a whole.
Notes
Introduction
Lorna went to this School to give the pupils a general exam crowing all the topics under Life Skills.
Overview
When Lorna reached the school, she found only the primary 5 and 6 pupils only. When she inquired where the rest were, teacher Marginal one of the teachers informed her that the primary seven pupils were reading preparing for their mock examinations. Lorna then asked teacher marginal to call them and sit for the exam which was just 30minutes. Lorna went ahead and requested the Headmaster to allow the Primary seven pupils to come sit for this exam. He was hesitant for a while saying the pupils are preparing for their primary 7 mock examinations but later agreed after Lorna explained to him that it would only take 30minutes.
Lorna then issued out the scripts and the exam was done for 45 minutes rather than the 30 minutes . An extra 15 minutes was added to the pupils who had not yet completed the exam.Lorna asked the pupils how the exam was and some said easy while others hard. Lorna took this opportunity to encourage the primary seven pupils to read hard as they prepared for their mocks. She wished them Luck.
Lorna then went back to the administration office to inquire from the Life Skills teachers about how well prepared they were for the exhibition and they said so far so good.
Conclusion
