- Notes
- Ida went to Nabikenge and continued with hatching lessons after reviewing the previous lesson. Last week the lesson ended when the chics were hatched.
When hatching is done, get the vaccine you prepared (kuku star) and vaccinate the chics. After vaccination, put the chics in the brooder and let the mother go.
Margaret asked that if they let the mother go, how will they take care of the chics at night.
There was a basket with g nuts which Ida used to demonstrate how to keep the chics at night.
The charcoal stove must be available throughout the night such that the chics will not feel cold since their mother is no longer with them. Don't give Feeds at night.
Nandase asked which kind of Feeds are they supposed to give the chics?
Ida asked them to be patient because all the things concerning Feeds, are for next time. We will learn how about feeding.
