Notes
Jeska and Tape did not find any one at the meeting place. They waited for about an hour and then other members showed up for the meeting. Kibo staff taught theoretically taught them about the materials needed for building stoves. That is termite, dirt , water, a shaved, two old source pans, a basin, a panga, a hoe and grass. This was intended to show them that the materials are locally available in communities. Because this could be the reason why people come late for the meeting because they don’t know what stoves are built from. The group said all the materials are freely found in their village except grass because they don’t know how it looks like. Kibo staff asked the group to walk with them in the bush and the find grass. The good news was the grass sample was found and the community said it’s plenty in their village. Kibo staff left them with an assignment to collect enough grass before the next meeting because the most difficult part is to collect grass and cut it.
